What will you be watching – March Madness or Scandal?
What will you be watching on TV on Thursday? Will you be doing play by play of the happenings of Olivia Pope on Shonda Rhimes' Scandal or will you be part of the Final Four office pool watching the 2015 March Madness games?
Whatever you are watching, if you are watching anything, how much moving will you be doing during that time? According to Nielsen, adults aged 35-49 watch roughly five hours of TV a day, or an average of more than 33 hours per week. Adults aged 50-64 watch more than 43 hours of television. That is a lot of time to be inactive.
No worries, I have you covered.
Make your TV watching count
In order to help make your TV watching count, I have reached out to my good friend, Victoria Picott, a basketball coach, and my personal trainer, Gail Williams to design workouts that you can do while watching March Madness or Scandal. Hey, even if you have no interest in either of those, watch them anyway to make your TV watching count.
