Are You in Your Lane?
Have you ever heard the term “stay in your lane?” If not, it means to know your role or, put another way, know your strengths.
Keeping that in mind, how often have you tried to do something outside of your strengths? On occasion you possibly fared well, but on others, not so much.
In fact, it is quite possible that you spun your wheels or racked your brain trying to figure out what to do only to be left with frustration and wasted time.
Know Your Strengths and When You Need Help
The best way to avoid such emotions is to, well, stay in your lane. Rather than drive yourself nuts, go with what you do well. And where you are weaker or do not have time for additional learning, ask for help.
Going with our strengths hit me when I was struggling with how to best make time for new ventures I want to begin.
In fact, I considered scaling back on the number of blog posts I post each month. The idea of scaling back bothered me so much that I emailed the canwillDONE subscribers to get their advice – help.
Overwhelmingly the advice was to stay the course, share my story, and figure out a different alternative.
Guess, what? I did. I decided to go with the strengths. In my case, that is to speak to people like you.
That is what I discuss briefly in this video.

No time to watch a video? No problem. Instead of watching you can listen. Can you hear me smiling?
