At the time of writing this post we are coming out of the summer, which in the U.S. was certainly not uneventful.
In case you missed it…
A young man used his car to run down and kill a young woman who was protesting against bigotry and injustice.
A pastor allegedly turned away people needing shelter after the devastation of Hurricane Harvey and…
Dreamers are wondering what is next for them.
My heart aches knowing so many people are void of caring for others.
Taken together, all of this left me wondering what in the world has happened to compassion?!!
That got me wondering to myself, and about you….
Are You Going to Go Out Like That?
I am hoping the answer to that – are you going to go out like that – is an emphatic, “No!”
I hope, like me, your purpose in life is to a leave a legacy that never once leaves a doubt about how compassionate you were.
So the question for you is…
Will Compassion be Missing from the Story of Your Life?
One of these days you and I will no longer be here. When we are gone people are going to talk about us. What do you want them to be able to say about you?
How will you ensure they will say, amongst other things, that you were compassionate?
That is what I ponder in this video. Be our hope for humanity.
